Occupy my blog
In the midst of all the hope I feel looking around at the Occupy Movement and other signs of LIFE, I have been too busy to post regularly. I am hoping to pick it back up again.
Gaia, the Greek earth goddess, has come to symbolize a holistic and integral world view where all of planet earth can be seen as a single sentient being. The first scientific hypothesis to take this view is called the Gaia Hypothesis, created by researcher James Lovelock in the 1960s.
Poiesis is old Greek for creation, and has been translated into English as poetry.
Gaiapoiesis is the ongoing creation of our world. This blog will explore the choices and opportunities, trials and tribulations of creating a just and harmonious planet. Combining the wisdom of the ancient spiritual traditions with the innovations of modern and postmodern science and the stuggles for human rights and social justice, we are collectively creating the world we live in everyday, every moment...
